Dubai is a city like no other. Housing the world’s tallest building, biggest shopping mall and largest choreographed fountain, the city breaks records. Glamorous hotels on a purpose-built island and an ever-changing city centre are just some of the things that make Dubai a must-see destination. Sunbathing is a year-round possibility in Dubai, thanks to its constant sunshine and excellent beaches on a beautiful shoreline. Families can discover theme parks, aquariums and minigolf, whilst adults will soak up the glitzy evening entertainment in swanky hotels, and exciting pool parties.
Though not as popular as Dubai, Abu Dhabi feels like a relative to the fashionable metropolis. It features skyscrapers like the Capital Gate and the Etihad Towers, and the Abu Dhabi Mall offers an upscale shopping experience. However, Abu Dhabi also offers exceptional Emirati culture and history alongside these modern experiences. Top sites include The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Louvre museum, Ferrari World (including the world’s fastest rollercoaster – Formula Rossa) and the sandy beaches of the seaside boulevard ‘the Corniche’. Venture outside of the city and you can enjoy the desert with a camel ride or dune buggies, or experience the coastal landscape.
The sprawling and peaceful waterfront of Ras Al Khaimah makes this an up-and-coming destination. Within easy reach of the city you can tap into your adventurous side with mountain ziplining and mangrove canoeing. Add to this vibrant souks, an expansive desert and diverse food scene and you won’t regret visiting UAE’s northernmost emirate.
Close to Dubai, Ajman is the smallest of the emirate states offering visitors a unique intimate feel. An escape here will reward you with 20 miles of glistening white beach to relax on. There is also incredible history to discover here as the city is built around an 18th-century fort. Inside this giant terracotta castle, you will find historic artefacts from photographs, to weapons and tools.
The UAE is an incredible destination with a number of great options. You can visit here year round for excellent weather, incredible hotels and perfect adventures. We would love to plan your escape to this magnificent destination.
