when to go to nepal

The best time to visit Nepal is October and November. The days are warm and the skies are clear, offering fantastic mountain views throughout the day. Coming a close second are the months of March and April. The country is warming up from the cold of winter but it is not yet the rainy season. The mountains are almost as clear and the spring flowers are in full bloom, including the incredible rhododendrons.

We do not recommend hiking in the mountains from December to February as it is exceptionally cold, although it is a lovely time of year to visit Chitwan National Park. We would also advise you to avoid the wet season as the mountains are prone to mudslides and the views are very cloudy.
