Days 1 to 2: Granada

Arrive in Granada, a colourful colonial city. You will take a guided tour of the city on your second day.

Days 3: San Ramon

The local people in San Ramon have set up a successful community project where local families open their homes to tourists. Today you have the pleasure of staying in this small village and experiencing local life.  

Day 4 to 5: Leon

Your next stop is Leon, which is a great place to explore with its rich colonial history, including twelve cathedrals and churches. Take a tour where you will learn to create traditional Nicaraguan art. Watch a local artist demonstrate the age-old techniques of creating typical Nicaraguan handicrafts; then try them out yourself.

Day 6 to 8: Castaway Island

This morning you will head to the airport and fly to the tropical Corn Islands, your home for the next couple of days. You will finding sparkling turquoise waters and glistening white sand here, where you can indulge yourself with tasty drinks, or explore the magnificent underwater world.

Day 9: Managua

Although the city of Managua is not the prettiest, it is an excellent location to take in the impressive site of Masaya Volcano. You will also have the opportunity catch a glimpse of the green parakeets and bats before peering into the crater mouth.

Day 10: Depart

Today you will travel from Managua airport to connect to your international flight home.
