ASTONISHING SAFARI HOLIDAYS IN KENYA
Africa is well known for its safaris, and Kenya certainly doesn’t disappoint on this front!
With national parks aplenty, Kenya boasts some of the most beautiful and diverse wildlife the continent has to offer. The Masai Mara (sometimes spelled Maasai Mara) is perhaps the best-known reserve; tucked in the south westerly corner of the country, it’s home to large populations of lion, cheetah, elephant, rhino and African buffalo, as well as hundreds of other animal and bird species.
Every year, in April or May, the Masai Mara hosts the Great Migration, when millions of hoofed creatures make there way from Tanzania to Kenya in search of food and water. It’s a sight to behold, and one you simply will never get a glimpse of anywhere else on the planet!
Elsewhere, Amboseli offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world – and Tsavo, Kenya’s biggest park, is regarded for its large herds of elephants.
Various packages are available to ensure your safari holiday in Kenya is tailored precisely to your needs. We can also help you plan and organise a multi-site trip that takes you to all the hotspots – contact us for more information.

RELAXING KENYAN ESCAPES
Though there’s plenty of adventure to be found here, sometimes a little rest and relaxation is in order. Kenya beach holidays are best taken during the dry season, which runs from July to October. Mombasa, a popular island city, offers a rich culture, friendly locals, and plenty of things to see and do, as well as those gorgeous brilliant-white beaches, of course. From larger luxury resorts to more secluded spots, there are plenty of accommodation options here to suit everyone’s preferences.
If chilling by the ocean isn’t your thing, there are plenty of nearby attractions to choose from. Take in the impressive architecture of Fort Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage site, or visit the Old Town for an insight into the life of the Portuguese traders who settled here in the 16th century. Water sports, deep sea fishing, swimming with dolphins – it’s all possible just outside of Mombasa’s city centre. Try Diani Beach, which is one of the best in the world, or head over to Tiwi Beach for a quieter experience.
WHAT ELSE CAN YOU SEE AND DO IN KENYA?
Every major destination in Kenya will provide you with a unique insight into the country’s customs and traditions. Immerse yourself in local markets, have a drink or two in bustling bars, or try Kenya’s diverse cuisine in some of the region’s best-rated restaurants; the food here is an enticing mix of African, Indian and European flavours.
If you’re after a more adrenalin-inducing Kenya holiday, you might want to try one of the many hiking trails here. For example, there are plenty of routes around Mount Kenya and the Ngong Hills, and there’s an excellent loop trail in Nairobi, too. And during your time in the capital, don’t forget to take in Uhuru Gardens, the National Museum and the Karen Blixen Museum.
